Story
In 1938, Alphonse Merle repurchase the Maison Forte
« Huîtres et Coquillages » to settle into the Halles des Cordeliers. With the help of his son Alain, Oyster seller France Champion in 1971, he makes the Maison Merle the reference in Lyon for tasting oysters. In 2005, Alain Merle divests his house to the Lameloise family, owner of Brasserie Georges. Today, the director Philippe Allard and its chef Jérémy continue this beautiful story with passion and talent.
